The Lower Falls of the Yellowstone has got to be one of the most popular destinations in Yellowstone. Not only do you get to see one of the most beautiful waterfalls anywhere, but you get to do it inside the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. There are dozens of vantage points to see and
experience the falls, but my favorites are Artists point, the bottom of Uncle Toms trail, the brink of the falls and lookout point.

If you go at the right time, you can see a rainbow from each and every one of these points. My favorite are the colors we got from Artist Point, you have to be there at around 9:45 am in the summer months. (Thanks to my friend Doug for the tip).

I recommend you take the time and visit each and every one of these spots and if you have the time hike a bit of the rim trail.

And here is a video of the view from the brink of the falls. The view from here is so spectacular the canyon seems like a painting.
